PRE WEDDING PHOTOSHOOT AT WHITSTABLE
I offer a pre wedding shoot as part of my second wedding collection and it is the perfect opportunity to get to know the couples whose wedding I will be photographing later in the year. A pre wedding shoot is a great way for couples to experience being in front of the camera in a relaxed setting so that it is not something that worries them when the big day arrives. It is also great for me to see how they like to be photographed and what they are comfortable with. I love it when couples suggest a location, because it make the experience more personal to them and Sandra and Jim suggested Whitstable on the Kent Coast as it is somewhere they like to visit often. I was chuffed at this suggestion, because I do like a beach hut, I love Whitstable and this was the first opportunity I have had to photograph a couple by the coast.
We were lucky to capture the dry spell before it started raining, and the cloud covered sky softened all the colours and harmonised beautifully with what Sandra, Jim and Harriet were wearing to create a pastel coloured collection of photographs
I couldn’t have asked to spend time with nicer people, who were so natural in front of the camera and great fun to be with. Harriet was beautifully independent choosing to be with Mum and Dad for some photographs and then off exploring at other times. I am so looking forward to shooting their wedding at Bradbourne House in October, when we should have the Autumn colours surrounding us.
