HOW DO YOU ASK SOMEONE TO MARRY YOU?
There must be as many different approaches as there are couples. Christmas and New Year seem to bring out the romantic in many of us, being the most popular time of year to propose to your loved one. Maybe it’s that time of year when we stop and appreciate those we are with, or start to think more closely about our future that does it, but around those winter months the question ‘Will you marry me?’ is being popped like champagne corks all around the country.
It was Christmas Day when opening a large wrapped up Christmas present, that Frith found a tiny ring box inside. At that moment she knew what was about to happen and Paul got down on one knee and asked her to marry him.
This is how I came to meet them in Greenwich Park on a relaxed Sunday morning for a photo shoot. We walked, chatted, had a coffee and took some photographs and they enjoyed the opportunity to just be together, focus on each other and celebrate their engagement.
A photographic session is great way to mark an engagement and offers a little time to focus on the two of you. Photographs are a great thing to look back on and be reminded of the time when someone thought you were so special that they asked you marry them, and you though they were so special that you agreed.
How were you proposed to? or how did you propose? I would love to know!
